I’ve been really good this week, for the first time I actually feel like I’ve lost weight. This is mainly down to my finally getting a grip of food portion size and eating less at night, I’m exercising the same but eating what I think would be considerably less. I’ve got it in my head that I’d like to lose 3 pound this week so I guess Monday will show if I’ve really been doing as well as I thought.
Anyway, enough about me. It’s the 1st of February today and it seems that people don’t only set New Years Resolutions but also New Months Resolutions! This time last week I pretty much had the gym to myself, today it was very busy. In fact it was the busiest I’d seen it since I started my workouts in early January. I wonder how long it will be until they give up this month?? Being serious for a moment gyms have an amazing business model. I would hate to think of the hundreds of people who have gym memberships at my gym but only go once or twice. The monthly direct debit just sneaks on by whilst people convince themselves that they’ll go “next week”. I wonder what would happen if everybody that paid to use a gym actually turned up, you wouldn’t be able to move?

That’s why you pay for gyms with an automatic credit card deduction. They want you to forget you’re a member.
I know you won’t let them forget………..:)
