Having completed my first goal it’s now time to move on to my second, to lose another 6 pounds, this time I’ve only got a month to do it. I currently weigh 12 stone 4 pounds and I’m aiming for 11 stone 12 pounds, at this point my mission to lose weight will be complete (I’ll then be working on my fitness!). This really is the last of my weight I’d be comfortable losing so I know it’s going to be very tough, it’s hard to believe for me when I think what I looked like 2 months ago but I’ve now got very little in the way of fat to shift. My waist has shrank nearly 6 inches and the old love handles are no more. My plan is this:
Change 3 eating habits for the better
No chocolate (Should be fun with Easter just around the corner)
No alcohol
Only eat red meat twice a week
Commit to doing 2 types of exercise
Get of the bus a few stops earlier so walking 20 minutes each morning (still do this every day)
In the gym at least 5 times a week, I don’t mind this because it fills a lunch hour
In order to achieve 1 measurable goal
Lose 6 pounds in 1 month
It’s not all that different from my first 3-2-1 plan but if it’s not broken why change it? The major differences are commiting to more trips to the gym and cutting down on the red meat. I’ve now got a grip on evening meal sizes so it’s just one more step towards a healthier diet. As an aside I’ll also be avoiding eating any Pasta as part of an evening meal, lunch isn’t so bad if you can burn it of straight afterwards. Pasta has been the one food that has upset my stomach throughout all this.
