Today is the 3rd Friday I’ve had to face, from my experiences so far I’d say that Friday is the worst day. The plan all week had been to treat myself to a Chinese tonight, I can’t put into words how much I’ve been looking forward to it….but I think I’m going to put it off until next week now. One of the 3 eating habits I had to change in order to lose weight was to cut down on my evening meals “a bit”. I had an idea in my head what I considered a bit to be and if I’m honest I haven’t managed to achieve “that bit” yet. Even when I’m not that hungry after work I can’t help cooking too much food, it’s a very bad habit and once cooked it has to be ate. This is bad, I know it’s bad but until I can manage portion sizes a little bit better then there should be no treats.
Tonight instead I’m going to cook a nice (relatively healthy) Chicken Korma, yes I know it’s not health food but compared to the calorie and fat content of a good take-away it will be much healthier. If worst comes to the worst I can always go for a walk around the block afterwards. To all you people going straight on the beer after work then have a good night, and if anybody wants to have a pint for me it would be appreciated!
